OPSC AEE Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must hold a degree in engineering in Civil for the post of AEE (Civil) and degree in Mechanical for the post of AEE (Mechanical) or an equivalent qualification from any university or Institution recognized by the Government or he/she must be an Associated member of the Instruction of Engineers in India in Mechanical/Civil.
A candidate must have Knowledge of Odia.

Age Limit (As on 01^st January 2019)

A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not be above the age of 32 years.
Age Relaxation As Per Government Rule.
OPSC AEE Syllabus
Civil :
Paper I : Solid Mechanics, Structural Analysis, Design of Concrete Structures, Design of Steel Structures, Building Materials and Building Construction, Building Materials, Building Construction, Estimation, Construction Planning and Management.
Paper II : Water Resources and Hydraulic Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Hydrology, Fluid Mechanics, Open Channel Flow, Environmental Engineering, Water Supply Engineering, Water Water Engineering, Solid Waste Engineering, Air and Noise Pollution, Geotechnical Engineering, Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Highway Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Surveying.
Mechanical Engineering :
Paper I : Theory of Machines, Machine Design, Mechanics of Solids, Engineering Materials, Manufacturing Science, Manufacturing Management,
Paper II : Thermodynamic Cycles, I.C. Engines, Fuels and Combustion, Heat Transfer, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Fluid Mechanics, Fluid Machineries and Power Plants.
