SSC MTS 2019 Exam Introduction
Staff Selection Commission is an organisation under Government of India to recruit staff for various posts in various Ministers and Departments of the Government of India and in Subordinate Offices.This commission is an attached office of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) which consists of chairman, two Members and a Secretary- cum- Controller of Examinations. His post is equivalent to the level of Additional Secretary to the Government of India.

Subjects Wise SSC MTS Preparation Strategy (Tier 1)
General Awareness :
General Science : Most of the questions asked in this section are of 9th- 10th level. Brush up the basics from the CBSE Science books.
Social Science : Social Science is a vast subject, try to study it topic- wise. You can break it subparts- History, Politics, Economy, and Geography, Environment, etc and thoroughly go thoroughly go through 1 subtopic at a time.
Computer : Be sure that you go through these topics in Computer- hardware, internet, e-mails, chips, the latest technology, etc. You can also go through the previous year papers to get an idea about the types of questions asked.
Current Affairs : Current Affairs is vast enough to be studied overnight. Make sure you read the newspaper regularly. Strengthen your knowledge of sports, news, latest developments in the country, disputes and hot topics.
Numerical Aptitude
Start with the scoring topics first and then move on to the other topics.
Numerical Aptitude involves a lot of formulas; make a habit of listing down the formulas you come across.
Try devising shortcuts while solving questions instead of mugging them up
Quant section can prove to be scoring only if you practice enough. So practice a variety of questions.
Logical Reasoning
i. Logical Reasoning section needs proper analysis of the given question, so don’t rush up to the solution unless you have read the question thoroughly.
ii. Follow the rule of thumb here as well – go with the scoring topics first, before moving on to the other topics.
iii. This section demands a regular practice in order to get a command over the topics.

English
i. The English section of the SSC MTS exam will test your knowledge of General Spoken English that we speak in day to day life.

iii. Work on your vocabulary. You can also use placards or other short tricks to make it intresting.
iv. Try to enhance your reading speed by solving 2-3 reading passages a day.
