Subjects Wise SSC MTS Preparation Strategy (Tier 1)
1. General Awareness :
General Science : Most of the questions asked in this section are of 9th- 10th level. Brush up the basics from the CBSE Science books.
Social Science : Social Science is a vast subject, try to study it topic- wise. You can break it subparts- History, Politics, Economy, and Geography, Environment, etc and thoroughly go thoroughly go through 1 subtopic at a time.
Computer : Be sure that you go through these topics in Computer- hardware, internet, e-mails, chips, the latest technology, etc. You can also go through the previous year papers to get an idea about the types of questions asked.
Current Affairs : Current Affairs is vast enough to be studied overnight. Make sure you read the newspaper regularly. Strengthen your knowledge of sports, news, latest developments in the country, disputes and hot topics.
2. Numerical Aptitude :
i. Start with the scoring topics first and then move on to the other topics.
ii. Numerical Aptitude involves a lot of formulas; make a habit of listing down the formulas you come across.
iii. Try devising shortcuts while solving questions instead of mugging them up
iv. Quant section can prove to be scoring only if you practice enough. So practice a variety of questions.
3. Logical Reasoning :
