NTA UGC NET PAPER 1 Syllabus 2019
UGC NET Teaching Aptitude : Teaching : Nature, Objectives, Characteristics and Basic Requirements, Learner’s Characteristics, Factors affecting Teaching, Methods of Teaching, Teaching aids, Evaluation Systems.
UGC NET Research Aptitude : Research : Meaning, Characteristics and Types, Steps of Research, Methods of Research, Research Ethics, Paper, Articles, Workshop, Seminar, Conference and Symposium, Thesis Writing : Its characteristics and format.
III. Reading Comprehension : A passage to be set with questions to be answered.
UGC NET Communication : Communication : Nature, Characteristics, Types, Barriers and Effective Classroom Communication.
Reasoning ( including Mathematical ) :

NTA UGC NET Exam Pattern 2019
1. Mode : The exam will be conducted through online mode.
2. Type of Questions : Objective type questions will be asked in the exam.
3. Duration : The exam duration will be 180 minutes (3 hours). It will be organized in two shifts, i.e. First Shift 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM and Second Shift 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
4. Papers : The exam will be consisting of two papers. There will be no break between papers.
5. Medium of Test : The medium of paper either Hindi or English depending upon candidate’s choice.
6. Marking Scheme : Each question will carry 2 marks.
7. Marking Scheme : No provision of negative marking.
