UP TET Syllabus
Teaching Methodology & Pedagogy, Languages (Hindi & English/Urdu/Sanskrit), Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
The paper focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to Standards 1st to 5th.
Candidates are expected to understand the characteristics and needs of diverse learners and exhibit the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator for learning
. NCERT Books for 1st to 5th standards can be referred to for better understanding of the scope of UPTET Paper 1.
The Language Section would assess the skills of the candidates in the medium of instruction while the Mathematics and Environmental Sciences section will test candidates’ conceptual understanding of the subjects.
