UP TET Syllabus
1.Teaching Methodology & Pedagogy, Languages (Hindi & English/Urdu/Sanskrit), Mathematics and Environmental Studies.
2. The paper focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to Standards 1st to 5th.
3. Candidates are expected to understand the characteristics and needs of diverse learners and exhibit the attributes and qualities of a good facilitator for learning.
4. NCERT Books for 1st to 5th standards can be referred to for better understanding of the scope of UPTET Paper 1.
5. The Language Section would assess the skills of the candidates in the medium of instruction while the Mathematics and Environmental Sciences section will test candidates’ conceptual understanding of the subjects.
6. UPTET Paper 2 encompasses Child Development, Learning & Pedagogy, Languages (Hindi & English/Urdu/Sanskrit), Mathematics & Science or Social Studies & Social Science.
7. The paper focuses on the educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to Standards 6th to 8th.
8. Candidates can choose between the sections of Mathematics & Science or Social Studies & Social Sciences.
9. NCERT Books for 6th to 8th standards can be referred to for better understanding of the scope of UPTET Paper 2.
