SEBI Grade A Selection Process
SEBI Selection Process: Phase-I
SEBI Phase-I is the entry-level exam. An online exam consisting of Multiple Choice questions for 200 marks will be conducted to test the candidates’ knowledge and skills. The application procedures are open to apply for SEBI Grade A 2020 Phase-I till July 31, 2020. There are 2 papers consisting of 100 marks each. The Paper-I is for all candidates despite their variations in streams and subjects.
SEBI Selection Process: Phase-II
Only the candidates who qualify the Phase-I of SEBI Grade A 2020, will have the chance to attempt the Phase-II. After the declaration of the results of Phase-I, a list of candidates’ names will be released who are eligible for Phase-II.
The Eligible candidates will be able to download a Call Letter on SEBI Official Website. Without the Admit Card/ Call Letter, the candidate will not be allowed to enter.
SEBI Selection Process: Interview
Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for the third state of the selection process - SEBI Grade A 2020 interview. Here are some invariable facts about the stage of Interview that will provide the applicants with information of the final state:
The application fee shall not be refunded to the candidates if they are not shortlisted for the interview.The candidate can opt for an interview either in Hindi or English.
Weightage of marks obtained in Phase II will be 85%, while marks obtained in interview shall be given a weight of 15%.
On fulfilling the criteria of the minimum cutoff marks in each subject, candidates will be shortlisted based on Group Performance as decided by SEBI.
