Krishi Vibhag (Agriculture Department) Direct Recruitment 2025 – Detailed Information
Recruitment Overview:
The Agriculture Department has released a major recruitment notification for the year 2025. A total of 484 vacancies are expected, out of which 327 posts are currently mentioned in the official notification. The application process will start on 18 November 2025 and the last date to apply is 14 December 2025. Applications can be submitted online, and there is no application fee for the candidates.
Available Posts and Education Requirements:
The recruitment is open for multiple posts and candidates with different qualifications can apply.
Agriculture Officer: Candidates must have a Graduation degree, and engineering graduates can also apply where applicable.
Field Supervisor: Graduation is required.
Upper Divisional Clerk (UDC): Candidates must have passed 12th standard.
Statistical Officer / Inspector: Graduation or Master's degree is required.
Junior Library Attendant: Candidates must have passed 10th standard.
Artist: 12th pass candidates are eligible.
Age Limit: For most posts, the minimum age required is 18 years. The maximum age limit is generally 32 years, and in some cases, it may be 35 years.
Age Relaxation:
OBC candidates: 3 years relaxation
SC / ST candidates: 5 years relaxation
PwD candidates: 10 years relaxation
Selection Process: The selection will be conducted in four stages:
1. Written / Online Test
The exam will be of 100 marks
100 questions
Total duration: 2 hours
2. Skill Test
3. Document Verification
4. Medical Examination
Qualifying Marks:
General category: Minimum 30%
OBC: Minimum 25%
SC / ST: Minimum 20%
Documents Required
Candidates should keep the following documents ready:
1. Passport size photograph and signature
2. 10th and 12th mark sheets
3. Graduation / Diploma / Post-Graduation certificates
4. Caste certificate (if applicable)
5. PwD certificate (if applicable)
6. Aadhaar card for identity proof
7. Address proof
8. Experience certificate (if applicable)
