Educational Qualification:
Associate Professor: Doctoral degree in the relevant subject including relevant basic sciences, with 8 years’ experience in the relevant subject as Assistant Professor-cum-Jr. Scientist/Scientist/Lecturer/Extension Specialist or equivalent position, with contribution to research/teaching/extension education evidenced by published work; OR Doctoral degree with minimum 8 years of high-quality post-doctoral research evidenced by at least 6 publications in NAAS-rated journals (7.5 or above)
Assistant Professor: Good academic record with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) at the Master’s Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or equivalent foreign degree; NET is compulsory for Master’s degree holders along with one NAAS-rated publication (NET exemption available for Ph.D. holders with UGC 2009 course-work and at least two NAAS-rated publications); Ph.D., if available, shall be preferred
Age Limit: Maximum 37 to 42 Years
