Bihar Police SAP Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:
Retirement Status: Candidate must be Ex-Servicemen/Paramilitary retired from Indian Army or Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) like CRPF, BSF etc.
Domicile: Candidate must be a permanent resident of Bihar State and must have a residential certificate (after 01 January 2026) issued by the Circle Officer.
Conduct: Conduct at the time of retirement must be at least “Good” or higher (Exemplary, Very Good).
Medical Category: Medical Category at the time of retirement should be S1, H3, A3, P3, E3, while SHAPE-1 candidates will be given preference.
Ex-Contract: Ex-servicemen who were earlier on contract in SAP, ERSS or Home Guard and their contract has been terminated will not be eligible for this recruitment.
Weapon Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of the use of small arms and automatic weapons is essential.
Additional Skills: Experience in disaster management, bomb detection/disposal, driving, swimming, diving and motorboat driving will be preferred.
Age Limit: Maximum 47 to 56 years
Salary:
JCO (Junior Commissioned Officer): Rs. 35,000 per month (Thirty-Five Thousand)
SAP Jawan: Rs. 30,000 per month (Thirty Thousand)
Cook / Rasoia: Rs. 25,000 per month (Twenty-Five Thousand)
Selection Process:
Walk-in Rally + Interview
NO Written Test,
NO Physical Test

3. Reach Danapur Cantonment early in the morning on the scheduled date.

6. Complete the document verification process.
7. Give a fitness test.
8. After selection, complete the further joining process.
