शैक्षिक योग्यता :
1. सब इंस्पेक्टर/सुबेेदार/सब इंस्पेक्टर (विशेष शाखा) : मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान से किसी भी विषय में स्नातक डिग्री प्राप्त उम्मीदवार इसके लिए पात्र होंगे।
2. सब इंस्पेक्टर (फिंगरप्रिंट एक्सपर्ट एवं अंडर क्वेश्चन डॉक्यूमेंट) : गणित, भौतिकी और रसायन में स्नातक डिग्री प्राप्त उम्मीदवार इसके लिए पात्र होंगे।
3. सब इंस्पेक्टर (कंप्यूटर) : BCA या कंप्यूटर साइंस में स्नातक (B.Sc) डिग्री प्राप्त उम्मीदवार इसके लिए पात्र होंगे।
4. सब इंस्पेक्टर (कम्युनिकेशंस/रेडियो) : दूरसंचार/इलेक्ट्रिकल/इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स ट्रेड में स्नातक/डिप्लोमा/इंजीनियरिंग डिग्री प्राप्त उम्मीदवार इसके लिए पात्र होंगे।
आयु सीमा :
न्यूनतम आयु : 21 वर्ष

Educational Qualification :
1. Sub Inspector/Subedar/Sub Inspector (Special Branch) : Candidates having Bachelor Degree in any discipline from recognized University/Institution /Equivalent will be considered.
2. Sub Inspector (Fingerprint Expert & Under Question Document) : Candidates having Bachelor Degree in Maths, Physics & Chemistry from recognized University/Institute will be considered for this post.
3. Sub inspector (Computer) : Candidates having BCA Degree or bachelor Degree (B.SC) in Computer Science from recognized university/institute will be considered for this post.
4. Sub inspector (Communications/Radio) : Candidates having Bachelor /Diploma/Engineering Degree in telecommunications/Electrical/Electronic trade from recognized degree will be considered for this post.
