CSL Apprentice Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:
Graduate Apprentices:
A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University or an Institution empowered by an Act of Parliament, in the relevant discipline.
Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State/Central Government as equivalent.
Where CGPA/OGPA/CPI is awarded instead of percentage, the conversion criteria defined by the University/Institute shall apply; otherwise, the Aggregate Grade Points shall be multiplied by 10 to arrive at the percentage.
Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:
Sl. No. 1–6 (Engineering disciplines): A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council/Board of Technical Education, a University, or an Institution recognized by the State/Central Government.
Sl. No. 7 (Commercial Practice): A Diploma in Commercial Practice granted by a State/Central Government recognized Institution.
Candidates with equivalent qualifications must submit an Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority; without this certificate, candidature will not be considered.
Age Limit: Minimum 18 years
Salary:
Category I: Graduate Apprentices: Rs.15,000/-
Category II: Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs.13,000/-

How to Apply for CSL Apprentice Recruitment 2026
1. Go to the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at nats.education.gov.in.
2. If you're a new user, click Student, then Student Register, and complete the application form to generate your Enrolment Number.
3. If you already have an old NATS/MHRD account, activate it using the forgot password option and log in.
4. Search for "COCHIN SHIPYARD LIMITED" under "Apply against advertised vacancies".
5. Click Apply — your status will show as "applied" once submitted.
