East Coast Railway Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Loco Pilot: Matriculation/SSLC + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in a relevant trade, OR Matriculation/SSLC + Act Apprenticeship in a relevant trade, OR 3-year Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering
Station Master: Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent
Goods Trains Manager: Degree from a recognized university or its equivalent
Junior Engineer (various disciplines): 3-year Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics, as applicable), or B.Sc. Engineering of 3-year duration for Civil posts
Technicians (various trades): Matriculation/SSLC + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the relevant trade, OR Matriculation/SSLC + Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade (trade varies by post - Electrician, Fitter, Welder, Machinist, etc.)
Junior Clerk cum Typist: 12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks (relaxed for SC/ST/PwBD and higher-qualified candidates); typing proficiency in English/Hindi on computer required
Commercial Clerk cum Ticket Collector: 12th (+2 Stage) or equivalent with minimum 50% aggregate marks (relaxed for SC/ST/PwBD and higher-qualified candidates)
Age Limit: Maximum 42 to 47 years

1. Visit the official RRC Bhubaneswar website (www.rrcbbs.org.in).
2. Click on the link for GDCE 2026 Online Application.
3. Enter your personal details, HRMS ID, IPAS ID, and service details accurately.
4. Upload your scanned passport-size color photograph (35mm x 45mm, 10 KB–100 KB, JPEG format) and signature (Black ink, 10 KB–40 KB).
5. Upload self-attested copies of educational qualifications, matriculation certificate, caste certificate, and supervisory endorsements.
6. Submit the online form and obtain your unique Application Registration Number.
7. Print out the hard copy of the submitted application form, get it officially forwarded by your Immediate
8. Controlling Officer, and upload the signed forwarded copy back into the portal.
