GSRTC Conductor Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification: Class 12 Pass (10+2) from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board or any equivalent recognized board. Diploma (10+3 or more years after Class 10) is also accepted. ITI (2-year or more NCVT-passed course after Class 10 + English subject passed from GSEB or Gujarat Open School Examination) and 3-year Polytechnic Diploma after Class 10 are also treated as equivalent to Class 12 for government service purposes (with equivalence certificate from Education Board).
Conductor Licence & Badge: Valid Conductor Licence issued by the Regional Transport Authority (RTA) AND Badge must be held at the time of online application. If the Conductor Licence and Badge are not valid on the date of application, the application will be rejected.
Computer Knowledge: Must possess a Basic Computer Knowledge certificate/marksheet from a training institute as per Gujarat Government GAD Resolution No. CRR-10-2007-120320-G-5 dated 13/08/2008, OR any Diploma/Degree/Certificate course in Computer from a recognized University/Institution, OR Class 10/12 passed with Computer as a subject. Certificate must be dated before the last date of application.
Vision: Clear (normal) vision required
Nationality: Indian citizen; OR subject of Nepal/Bhutan; OR Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01/01/1962 with intention of permanent settlement; OR person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Bangladesh, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries etc. for permanent settlement in India (eligibility certificate from Government required for the latter categories)
Age Limit: Maximum 35 to 45 years

Reserved (All categories: SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, Divyang, Ex-Servicemen) – Male & Female: Rs. 200/-

How to Apply for GSRTC Conductor Recruitment 2026
1. Open your browser and navigate to the official OJAS Gujarat portal: ojas.gujarat.gov.in. Go to the “Apply Online” menu option and select “Apply”.
2. Choose “GSRTC” from the department list and locate the “Conductor” recruitment link.
3. Fill in the mandatory fields under Personal Details, Educational Qualifications, and License information carefully. Fields marked with a red asterisk (*) are compulsory.
4. Upload your scanned passport-size photograph (Max size 10 KB, Dimensions: 5cm x 3.6cm) and signature (Max size 10 KB, Dimensions: 2.5cm x 7.5cm) in JPG format.
5. Click “Save” to tentatively record your details. Confirm the application by entering your Application
Number and Date of Birth to generate the “Confirmation Number”.
6. Proceed to the online payment portal, enter your confirmation number, and pay the relevant fees based on your category.
7. Print the successfully submitted application form and keep the receipt copy safe for document verification.
