GSSSB Additional Assistant Engineer Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification: A Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or Diploma in Automobile Engineering from the Technical Examination Board, a recognized university established under a Central or State Act, or an institution deemed to be a university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956.
Basic knowledge of computer applications as prescribed under the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi, or both.
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 years
Maximum 33 years
Application Fee:
Unreserved: Rs. 500/-
Reserved (Women of all categories, SEBC, SC, ST, EWS, PWD, Ex-Servicemen): Rs. 400/-
Salary: Fixed pay of Rs. 49,600/- for the first 5 years, followed by placement in Level-7 (Rs. 39,900 – Rs. 1,26,600) as per 7th CPC

How to Apply for GSSSB Additional Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2026
1. Visit the official website: https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in
2. Click on ‘Online Application’ and then click ‘Apply’, then select GSSSB.
3. Click on the advertisement for ‘Additional Assistant Engineer (Mechanical), Class-3’ (Advertisement No. 419/202627) and click ‘Apply Now’.
4. Fill in ‘Personal Details’ (fields marked with red asterisk * are mandatory).
5. Fill in ‘Educational Details’.
6. Accept the terms in the ‘Assurance’ section by selecting ‘Yes’ and click ‘Save’. Note the generated Application Number.
7. Upload Photograph (5 cm height x 3.6 cm width, JPG format, max 15 KB) and Signature (2.5 cm height x 7.5 cm width, JPG format, max 15 KB) with white background and date of photo.
8. Click ‘Confirm Application’, verify all details, and confirm. A Confirmation Number will be generated — save it carefully.
9. Pay the examination fee online (Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or Wallets) by 01/07/2026 (23:59 hours). Save the payment receipt.
10. Print the application form and retain it for future reference.
