HSSC Group C Mains Eligibility 2026
Education qualification :
Group 1 - Forester: Intermediate in Arts/Science or 10+2 in Science/Art/Commerce with Matriculation having Science/General Science as one subject. Must meet specified Physical Standards (Height, Chest, Race requirements)
Group 2 - Draftsman (Civil): Matriculation or equivalent with Three Years Diploma in Engineering (Civil) OR Two Years Certificate in Draftsmanship (Civil) from recognized institution
Group 3 - Electronics Posts: Graduate/Diploma in Electronics & Communications or equivalent with relevant experience/certifications
Group 4 - Mechanic Posts: Matric with ITI certificate in relevant trade (Diesel Mechanic/Motor Vehicle/Electronics/Mechanical) with 2 years experience in relevant field
Group 5 - Fitter Posts: Matric with ITI certificate in Fitter trade or Diploma in relevant mechanical/electrical trade
Group 6 - Draftsman (Electrical): Matriculation with 3 years Diploma in Engineering (Electrical) or 2 years Certificate in Draftsmanship (Electrical)
Group 7 - Draftsman (Mechanical): Matriculation with 3 years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical) or 2 years Certificate in Draftsmanship (Mechanical)
Group 8 - Archaeological Posts: 2nd Class Master's Degree in Ancient Indian History/Archaeology/Medieval Indian History or relevant subjects with Postgraduate Diploma in Archaeology
Group 9 - Motor Vehicle Inspector: Matriculation with Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering (3 years), valid driving license, 1 year workshop experience, computer knowledge
Group 10 - Assistant Draftsman (Civil): Certificate course in Civil Draftsman/3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering with certified courses in AutoCAD and related software
Age Limit :
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 42 years (as on closing date 15/02/2026)
Age Relaxation: As per Haryana Government instructions for DSC/OSC/BC-A/BC-B/PWD/ESM and other reserved categories.
