IAF Group C Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:
Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 12th Class pass from a recognised Board Skill: A typing speed of 35 wpm in English OR 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (35 wpm and 30 wpm correspond to 10500 KDPH/9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word). Time allowed: 10 minutes.
Hindi Typist: 12th Class pass from a recognised Board Skill: A typing speed of 30 wpm in Hindi on computer (30 wpm corresponds to 9000 KDPH on an average of 5 key depressions for each word). Time allowed: 10 minutes.
Civilian Mechanical Transport Driver – Ordinary Grade (CMTD) : Matriculation pass or equivalent qualification from a recognised board or university Licence: Must hold a valid Civil Driving Licence for light and heavy vehicles Skill: Must possess professional skill in driving and knowledge of motor mechanism Experience: Minimum two (2) years' experience in driving motor vehicles
Age Limit:
Minimum 18 Years
Maximum 25 Years
Salary: Level-2 as per Pay Matrix 7th CPC

How to Apply for IAF Group C Civilian LDC, Hindi Typist & Driver Recruitment 2026
Step 1: Download Notification & Application Form - Download the Employment News notification PDF and extract the Application Form (Annexure-I) from the official notification
Step 2: Fill Application Form - Download and fill the Application Form as per the prescribed Proforma (Annexure-I). The application form must be filled/typed in English or Hindi only
Step 3: Affix Photograph - Affix a recent passport-size self-attested photograph on the application form. Also attach two additional passport-size photographs (same as affixed on the form)
Step 4: Prepare Required Documents - Attach self-attested copies of all documents:
Step 5: Attach Self-Addressed Envelope - Attach a self-addressed envelope with stamps of Rs. 10/- pasted. Address should be typed in English/Hindi
Step 6: Prepare Envelope for Posting - Put all documents in an envelope. Mention clearly on the envelope: "APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF AND CATEGORY "
Step 7: Send by Post - Send the complete application by post to the concerned Air Force Station/Unit's postal address (as mentioned in the official notification for the chosen station) within 30 days from the date of publication
