Education Qualification :
Candidate should pass 10th class and need to have a SSLC certificate is needed to apply. Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in vehicles) is needed.
Age Limit :
Candidate maximum age limit for appointment by deputation/absorption shall be between 18 years to 27 years as on the closing date of receipt of application is needed.
Required Experience :
Candidate should possess of valid Driving Licence for light and heavy motor vehicles, and experience of Driving light and Heavy motor vehicle for at least three years is needed.
India Post Salary 2022 :
Shortlisted candidates are eligible to receive a salary of Rs. 19900/- to Rs. 63200/- PM (pay matrix level-02 as per 7th CPC) will be regularized as per pay rule.
The period of deputation including the period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other Department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
Selection Process :
Selection of Driver shall be made on the basis of test as prescribed by Department to assess their competency to drive light and heavy motor vehicles including knowledge of Motor Mechanisms and ability to remove minor defects in vehicle from amongst the candidates possessing the requisite eligibility criteria mentioned above.
The date and venue of the tests will be intimated separately to the eligible candidates. No intimation will be sent in respect of other applicants who are not eligible.
