JKPSC Assistant Professor Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:
Option A: A Master's Degree with 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/Differently Abled/PhD degree holders who obtained their Master's Degree prior to 19 September 1991), or an equivalent grade on a point scale, in the concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. Candidates must also have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR, or an equivalent test accredited by UGC such as SLET/SET, OR hold a PhD degree awarded in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of M.Phil/PhD Degree) Regulations 2009 or 2016 (subject to specified conditions such as evaluation by two external examiners, an open PhD viva voce, and publication/presentation of research papers). NET/SLET/SET is not required for disciplines in which it is not conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar accredited bodies.
Option B: A PhD Degree obtained from a foreign university/institution ranked among the top 500 in the world by QS World University Rankings, The Times Higher Education (THE), or the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) by Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

2. Complete or update your One Time Registration (OTR) if not already done, filling personal information, contact details, and educational qualification.
3. Upload a date-stamped recent passport-size colour photograph (not taken before 01.01.2026) and signature, sized between 10 KB and 20 KB in JPEG/JPG format.
4. Log in and click on "Show Examination" against the relevant post/examination.
5. Select the advertisement notification month, then click "Apply" against the post for which you are eligible.
6. Read the instructions carefully, then click "Apply" and fill in the remaining required fields.
7. Review all details for correctness, then click "Submit" to push the data to the server.
8. Pay the requisite application fee online through the "Submitted Applications" menu in your account.
9. Upload all mandatory and category-specific documents.
10. Download and retain a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.
