KGBV Bareilly Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:
Principal Educational Qualifications: Trained M.A. (Hindi/English) or M.Sc(Physics/Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Mathematics/Computer Science) with at least 4 years of teaching experience in classes 9 to 12, or equivalent institutional leadership experience.
PGT Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in the respective subject along with B.Ed. or equivalent training qualifications as per government norms.
Computer Science Teacher: M.Tech, B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, MCA, M.Sc. (Computer Science), or DOEACC ‘B’ Level / PG DCA with relevant degrees.
Lab Assistant: High School with Science stream and Laboratory Technology diploma, or Intermediate with Science stream.
Office Superintendent / Clerk: Intermediate pass with computer operation knowledge (DOEACC/NIELIT CCC certificate or computer diploma/degree) and typing speed of 25 wpm in Hindi and 30 wpm in English.
Caretaker: Post Graduate degree along with B.Ed.
Support Staff (Peon, Watchman, Cook): Class 8th pass from a recognized board.
Age Limit:
Minimum 30 years
Maximum 45 years
Salary: Rs. 30,000/- 22,000/Per Month.

How to Apply for KGBV Bareilly 2026
1. Download the prescribed application format from the Bareilly NIC website, www.bareilly.nic.in, where the notification and guidelines are also available.
2. Fill the application form clearly and completely in your own handwriting. Cutting and overwriting are not permitted.
3. Write your name and father's name, and date of birth, exactly as recorded in your High School certificate.
4. Attach self-attested photocopies of: two recent self-attested colour photographs, educational certificates and mark sheets (all years of Graduation, Postgraduation, and B.Ed.), experience certificate, general residence (domicile) certificate, caste certificate issued by a competent authority, two character certificates issued by gazetted officers, Aadhaar card, and other relevant documents.
5. Enclose two self-addressed envelopes bearing adequate postage stamps for speed post/registered post.
6. Clearly mention, in bold letters on the envelope, the post/subject/category for which you are applying at the Kasturba Gandhi Awasiya Balika Vidyalaya.
7. If applying for more than one post, submit a separate application for each post, clearly mentioning the post name, subject and reservation category on each.
8. Send the completed application only by registered post or speed post to the Office of the District Basic
9. Education Officer, Bareilly, so as to reach by 8 August 2026, 5:00 PM. Applications sent by ordinary post or courier will not be accepted.
