NSIT Non Teaching Eligibility 2021
Educational Qualification & Experience
1. Lower Division Clerk–(LDC) : Essential: (i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University. (ii) A typing speed of minimum 35 wpm in English on Computer.
2. Junior Stenographer : Essential: (i) 12th class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. (ii) Skill Test Norms: Dictation-10 minutes @ minimum 80 wpm Minimum 35 wpm in typing in English on Computer.
3. Upper Division Clerk- (UDC) : Essential: (i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized Board/University or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/University. ii) A typing speed of minimum 35 wpm in English on Computer.
4. Library Assistant : Essential: (i) B.A./B.Sc./B.Com. with Certificate in Library Science from a recognized University or Institute and working knowledge of Computer. OR Diploma in Library Science with 2 years full time experience in Library management and Working knowledge of Computers. OR Bachelor degree in Library Sciences. Working knowledge of Computer.
5. Junior Mechanic : (i) For Engineering Department ITI in relevant field and two years experience in relevant field. OR Diploma/Degree in Engineering in appropriate field.
6. Head Clerk : Essential: a) Graduation from recognized university. b) Typing speed of minimum 35 wpm in English on Computer. c) Knowledge of computers and basic office software tools like Windows, Excel, etc.
7. Senior Technical Assistant (STA) : Essential: (i) For Diploma with 5 years of Experience in relevant field/discipline OR B.Tech/BE in relevant field/discipline.
8. Assistant Store Keeper : Essential: i) 12th Class or equivalent qualification from a recognized Board/ University (ii) A typing speed of minimum 35 wpm in English on Computer.
9. Junior Programmer : Essential: M.Tech (with specialization in computer Science/IT/Software Engineering) OR Master in Computer Application (MCA)
10. Technical Assistant : For Engineering Departments State Board Diploma or equivalent in the relevant or an allied) subject/field with Two (02) years Industrial/ Laboratory Experience in the desired trade. OR B.Tech/BE in relevant field/discipline. For Physics & Chemistry Departments B.Sc with 2 years Experience OR M.Sc. in relevant field.
Age Limit
The minimum age required for various Non Teaching posts at NSUT is 18 years and maximum is 27 years for all the posts except Head Clerk, STA and Junior Programmer which is 30 years maximum.
Selection Process
The selection process will consist of three stages that include:
Computer Based Test (CBT)– The written test or the CBT will be the first test that the candidates will have to clear to appear in the skill test only if they are able to qualify.
Skill Test/ Laboratory Practical Test– Skill test or practical laboratory test will be given to only those who qualify the CBT. Then comes the next stage the personal interview.
Interview (only where applicable)– The interview is the final round of the selection process. And only a few selected posts will have this round.

1. Visit the Official Website of NSUT @nsit.ac.in or click on the direct application link above.
2. Now click on Recruitment Tab Option.
3. Then click on Ongoing Vacancies for the Given Posts.
4. Click on Online Application.
5. Click on New user & register yourself.
6. Fill in all the Required Details.
7. Click on Final Submission.
8. Take a Print out of the Application after duly filling it for future reference.
