OTET 2025 Recruitment Details
Exam Name: Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2025.
Purpose: This test is required to become a teacher for Primary (Classes 1-5) and Upper Primary (Classes 6-8) levels in Odisha's government and aided schools.
Organized by: Board of Secondary Education, Odisha (BSE Odisha).

Eligibility (Who Can Apply):
There is no age limit for this exam. You just need the right educational qualifications:
For Paper-I (Classes 1-5): You need to be 12th Pass with 50% marks plus a 2-year D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) or B.El.Ed (4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education). OR You can be a Graduate with a 2-year D.El.Ed.
For Paper-II (Classes 6-8): You need to be a Graduate with either a 2-year D.El.Ed or a B.Ed (Bachelor of Education).
Exam Pattern:
The exam is an Offline Written Test.
Both Paper-I and Paper-II have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 150 Marks.
The time limit for each paper is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Subjects:
Paper-I Subjects (Primary): Child Development & Pedagogy, two Languages (one of which is English), Mathematics, and Environmental Studies.
Paper-II Subjects (Upper Primary): Child Development & Pedagogy, two Languages (one of which is English), and either Mathematics & Science OR Social Studies (you choose one).
