PSSSB Clerk Eligibility 2026
Educational Qualification:
Clerk :
1. Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institution.
2. Computer/IT Qualification: Must have a 120-hour course with hands-on experience in using computers for office productivity or desktop publishing from a government-recognized institute OR
3. Computer/IT course equivalent to ‘O’ Level Certificate (DOEACC), Government of India.
Typing Test
Must qualify a Punjabi typing test (Unicode-compliant font Raavi) and English typing test at 30 words per minute before appointment.
Must have passed 10th standard Punjabi as per Punjab Civil Services Rules.
Clerk IT
Full-time BCA, B.Sc IT, or B.Sc Computer Science degree from a recognized university or institution.
Typing Test
1. Must qualify Punjabi and English typing tests at 30 words per minute.
2. Must have passed 10th standard Punjabi as per Punjab Civil Services Rules.
Age limit : 18 years of age to maximum 37 years
Application Fee :
1. General: Rs. 1000
2. SC/EWS/BC : Rs. 250
3. ESM & Dependent : Rs. 200
4. Physically Handicapped : Rs. 500
Salary : Rs. 19,900/-
Selection Process :
Stage I : Written Exam
Stage II : Typing Test
Stage III : Document Verification/Interview
