RBI Assistant Eligibility 2026:
Nationality: A candidate is required to be
(a) a citizen of India or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Educational Qualification:- A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) and above in any discipline to be eligible for the RBI Assistant 2026 Exam. He/She must hold knowledge of computers as well as have proficiency in the official language of the concerned state of Union Territory.

How to Apply Online for RBI Assistant Recruitment 2026?
1. Visit the RBI official website and click on the ‘Apply Online’ link.
2. Register yourself by entering all details like name, dob, contact number, and email ID.
3. A registration number and password will be generated and will be sent to your registered Email and contact number.
4. Log in again using that password and registration number.
5. Enter all other details asked and upload the documents in the prescribed format as mentioned below.
6. The photograph should be passport size, and the file size must be between 20 KB-50 KB. The dimensions should range between 200 x 230 pixels.
7. The signature should be clear, with dimensions ranging between 140 x 60 pixels on white paper with a Black Ink pen. The file should range between 10 KB to 20 KB.
8. The Left Thumb Impression has to be put on white paper with blue/black ink, with dimensions ranging between 240 x 240 pixels. The file size must be between 20 KB to 50 KB.
9. The Handwriting Declaration must be written in English, clearly on white paper with black ink, and the dimensions must be between 800 x 400 pixels. The file size must be between 50 KB to 100 KB.
10. Preview the RBI Assistant application form once before final submission, as no corrections can be made at a later stage.
11. Pay the online application fee as per your category through debit card/ credit card/ net banking or any other online payment option given.
12. Take a printout of the application form and the fee receipt for future use.
