RBI Assistant Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:-
Nationality: A candidate is required to be :
(a) a citizen of India or
(b) a subject of Nepal, or
(c) a subject of Bhutan, or
(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
A candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree with an aggregate of 50% (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates) and above in any discipline to be eligible for the RBI Assistant 2026 Exam. He/She must hold knowledge of computers as well as have proficiency in the official language of the concerned state of Union Territory.
Application Fee:
General/OBC/EWS: Rs.450/- plus 18% GST
SC/ST/PwBD/EXS: Rs.50/- intimation charges plus 18% GST

Age Limit :
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 28 years
Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years
Age Relaxation for OBC: 3 years
Age Relaxation for PwBD: 10 years (General/EWS), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
Age Relaxation for Ex-servicemen: Extent of service plus 3 years, subject to maximum 50 years
Age Relaxation for Widow/Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)
Salary: Rs. 58,514/- every month
