RRB Technician Eligibility 2026:

Educational Qualification: Technician Grade-I Signal, candidates need a Bachelor of Science in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation, a three-year diploma in Engineering, or a Degree in Engineering in these streams. For most Technician Grade-III posts, candidates need Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from NCVT/SCVT or Matriculation/SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the relevant trade (such as Fitter, Welder, Electrician, Machinist, Carpenter, or Blacksmith, depending on the post applied for).

Age Limit:

Minimum 18 years

Maximum 33 years

UR / General: Rs.500-400/-

SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Minorities / EBC: Rs.250-250/-

Salary: Rs.29,200 (Level-5) / Rs.19,900 (Level-2)
