Educational Qualification:
ALP and Technician :
Assistant Loco Pilot (Pay Level 2, Electrical): (A) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Millwright/Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio & TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature & Coil Winder, Mechanic (Diesel), Heat Engine, Turner, Machinist, Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Mechanic; OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trades mentioned above; OR (B) Matriculation / SSLC plus three years Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering, or a combination of various streams of these Engineering disciplines, from a recognized Institution in lieu of ITI. Degree in the above Engineering disciplines is also acceptable in lieu of Diploma in Engineering.
Technician-I Signal / Tele (Pay Level 5, Sig & Tele): (A) Bachelor of Science in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute, OR B.Sc. in a combination of any sub-stream of these basic streams; OR (B) Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in a combination of any of them, OR Degree in Engineering in the above basic streams or in a combination of any of them.
Technician-III (Sig & Tele) (Pay Level 2): (A) Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI certificate from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electronics Mechanic / Electrician / Wireman; OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trade mentioned above; OR (B) 10+2 with Physics and Maths.
Technician-III / Fitter and Technician-III / Fitter (Workshop) (Pay Level 2, Mechanical): Matriculation / SSLC plus ITI from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Fitter; OR Matriculation / SSLC plus Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the trade mentioned above.

Commercial cum Ticket Clerk and Junior Clerk cum Typist:
Commercial cum Ticket Clerk (Pay Level 3, Commercial): 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in the case of SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability/Ex-Servicemen and candidates who possess qualifications higher than 12th (+2 stage).
Junior Clerk cum Typist (Pay Level 2, Personnel): 12th (+2 stage) or its equivalent with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate (same relaxation as above). Typing proficiency in English/Hindi on Computer is essential.
Age Limit: Maximum 42 to 47 years

How to Apply for RRC NCR GDCE Recruitment 2026
1. Visit the official website of RRC/NCR, www.rrcpryj.org, and open the link for filling the application for GDCE Notification No. RRC/NCR/GDCE/01/2026.
2. Click on the "New Registration" link.
3. Fill in the personal information, e-mail address and mobile number. An e-mail/SMS will be received on the registered e-mail ID/mobile number with the registration number and password.
4. Login using the registration number and password.
5. Follow the instructions and complete the registration process step by step, including the post preference and exam group.
6. Upload the scanned copy of the photograph, self-attested certificates in proof of date of birth, educational/technical qualifications and caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC), and submit the application.
