SGGU Teaching Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:
Assistant Professor (General Colleges): Post-graduation in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks. Must hold PhD degree OR have cleared UGC-NET / Gujarat SLET in the concerned subject as per UGC Regulations 2018.
Principal (Degree College): Post-graduation with minimum 55% marks + PhD + minimum 15 years of teaching/research/administrative experience with evidence of scholarly contributions.
Principal (B.Ed. / Professional Colleges): As per NCTE / INC / respective regulatory body norms applicable to the professional college type.
Librarian: Master’s degree in Library and Information Science (M.Lib.I.Sc. / M.L.I.S.) with 55% marks + NET/SLET/PhD in Library Science.
P.T.I. (Physical Training Instructor): Master’s in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) with 55% marks + NET/SLET in Physical Education.
Tutor (Nursing Colleges): B.Sc. Nursing / GNM or equivalent qualification as per INC norms + relevant clinical experience.
Assistant Professor (Nursing/Physiotherapy): Post-graduation in relevant medical/health science discipline as per INC / IAP norms with required registration.
Application Fee:
All Categories (General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS): Rs.500/-
PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disability): Rs.500/- (uniform fee)
