SSB Sub Inspector Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:-
Nationality:
Only Indian citizens (subjects of Nepal or Bhutan are eligible with prior permission of Central Government).
Staff Nurse (SI‑Staff Nurse): 12th class pass from a recognized board/university. 3/ 3.5‑year Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) (duration depends on year of qualification). Must be registered with Indian/State Nursing Council as a General Nurse & Mid‑wife. Pioneer (SI‑Pioneer) Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute.
Communication (SI‑Communication): Bachelor’s degree in: Electronics & Communication / Computer Science / IT Engineering, or Science with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM)
Age Limit:
Minimum age: 18 years
Maximum age: 30 years
Application Fee:
UR / EWS / OBC: Rs.200/-
SC / ST / Female / Ex-Servicemen: No Fee
Salary: Level-6, Rs.35,400-1,12,400 (7th CPC)
Selection Process:
Physical Standard Test (PST)
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – Only for SI (Communication)
Computer Based Test (CBT)
