SSC CGL 2026 Eligibility Criteria :
Education qualification :
For Junior Statistical Officer (JSO)- Bachelor’s Degree from any recognised University with a minimum 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th
or in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation.
For Statistical Investigator Grade-II- Graduation Degree from any recognised University with Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics as a compulsory or Elective Subject.
For Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC)- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute with a minimum of one year of research experience in any recognized university or recognized Research Institution.
For remaining posts- Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University.
Age Limits : Minimum age 18 years and Maximum age 32 years
Application Fee :
Candidates pay: Rs. 100/
Salary : Varies posts wise (Pay Level 4 to 7)

How to apply for SSC CGL Recruitment 2026
1. If you are a beginner, then definitely go through the SSC CGL Syllabus and Previous Year Papers first. Understand the exam pattern, marking scheme, your weakness and strength in CGL Exam subjects, etc.
2. For guidance, you can follow Adda247 or any other platform of your choice, be it YouTube, Google, or Printed study notes. But make sure that the sources are authentic.
3. Arrange your day around your preparation. As only few days are left, devote your 6-8 hours to quality studies.
4. For working professional, you can manage their hours as per your job conditions.
5. First, complete the syllabus and then proceed to solving PYQs.
6. Now, after building some confidence, start taking mock tests.
7. The Mock Tests are mostly useful for learning new concepts and acquainting yourself with tough questions.
8. Revise daily and remember that consistency is important.
