TN MRB Assistant Surgeon Eligibility 2025
Age Limit :
SCs, SCAs, STs, MBC/DNCs, BCs, BCMs: No maximum age limit (not above 60 years)
Others: 37 years
PWD (to Others): 47 years
Ex-Servicemen (to Others): 48 years
Application Fee :
SC/SCA/ST/DAP(PH): Rs. 500/-
Others: Rs. 1,000/-
Fee is to be paid online; non-refundable
Salary : Level-22, Rs. 56,100-2,05,700/- Per Month
Selection Process :
1. Tamil Language Eligibility Test (10th Standard Level) & Objective type single paper Exam for Assistant Surgeon (Dental)
2. Certificate Verification
Educational Qualification : Candidates should possess the following or its equivalent qualification awarded by a University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its grants. The courses must have been approved by the Medical Council of India.
For Assistant Surgeon (General) -MBBS Degree
In addition to the above, the candidates
i. Must be a registered practitioner within the meaning of the Madras Medical Registration Act, 1914.
ii. Must have served as House Surgeon (CRRI) for a period of not less than twelve months.
iii. Candidates should have registered their name in the Tamil Nadu Medical Council on or before the date of this Notification (21.11.2025).
iv. If a candidate claims that the educational qualification possessed by him/her is equivalent though not the same as those prescribed for the appointment, the onus of proof rests with the candidate.

3. Download the advertisement and ensure the eligibility criteria
4. Eligible candidates can click on the Online registration and fill the application form
5. Select your post name and enter all the fields
6. Upload your scanned colour photograph, signature as per the guidelines
7. Provide valid Email ID and Mobile number for communication
8. Pay the application fee and submit the application
