UPESSC Assistant Professor Eligibility 2026:
Educational Qualification:-
Option 1:
Postgraduate degree in Science / Mathematics / Social Science / Humanities with minimum 55% marks
AND M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks
OR
Option 2:
Postgraduate degree in Science / Mathematics / Social Science / Humanities with minimum 55% marks
AND Postgraduate degree in Education (M.A. Education) with minimum 55% marks
AND B.Ed. degree or equivalent with minimum 55% marks
Additionally (for both options):
National Eligibility Test (NET) in Education conducted by UGC
OR
Ph.D. or D.Phil. in Education from a University that has obtained the degree in accordance with UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degree) Regulations 2009/2016
Age Limit: Maximum age 62 Years

How to Apply for UP Assistant Professor B.Ed. Recruitment 2026
1. Visit the official website: www.upessc.up.gov.in
2. Click on the link for Advertisement No. 51 (B.Ed. - Amended)
3. Register yourself and fill the online application form carefully. Once submitted, no corrections will be made by the commission.
4. Upload photograph of the prescribed size and sign at the designated place. Applications with incorrect photo or absent signature will be cancelled.
5. Pay the application fee online through the available payment modes.
6. The User Manual for filling the online application form (in Hindi and English) is available on the portal. Read it carefully before applying.
7. Candidates who applied under the previous advertisement (09.07.2022 or 23.05.2025) must re-apply using their old Application Number (sent to registered mobile/email) and need not pay the fee again if they meet the mandatory qualification in Point 6 as on 31.08.2022.
