| Centre In-Charge | A Bachelor’s degree from a university established in India, or an equivalent degree recognised by a State Government, along with a working knowledge of Hindi in the Devanagari script, is required. |

How to Apply for UPSSSC Lower PCS Recruitment 2026
1. Go to the official website of UPSSSC: upsssc.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, click on the “Live Advertisement” segment and select Advertisement No. 07-Exam/2026.
3. Click on “Apply Online” and log in using your PET-2025 Registration Number and the OTP received on your registered mobile number/email.
4. The system will auto-fill your personal details from the PET-2025 database (Name, Father’s Name, Category, D.O.B., etc.).
5. Select the post(s) you are applying for from the list of advertised departments.
6. Fill in your educational qualification details, including board/university name, passing year, and roll number.
7. Enter your preference order for the various posts/departments.
8. Verify the pre-filled photo and signature (no changes allowed).
9. Accept the declaration by ticking all checkboxes.
10. Pay the online processing fee of ₹25 through Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking/UPI or SBI e-Chalan.
11. After successful fee reconciliation, download and print the final submitted application form. Note that the form is only submitted after fee reconciliation.
