Centrally Sponsored National Means-Cum-Merit Scholarship Examination 2022 is an initiative of Directorate of School Education, West Bengal for the students studying in class 8. The aim of this scholarship program is to financially support the meritorious students of economically weaker sections of society. The selected candidates will receive INR 12,000 per annum.

Education Qualification
be a student of class 8
have scored 55% and above marks in class 7 (Note - 5% relaxation to SC, ST and Disabled candidates.)
be studying in Government Schools/Government Aided School/Local Body and Government Sponsored School including Madrasah
fulfill the annual income criteria of INR 3.5 lakh per annum
