Education Scholarship Scheme for Army Personnel (ESSA) 2022-23
Education Scholarship Scheme for Army Personnel (ESSA) 2022-23 is an initiative of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES)* to provide financial assistance to wards of serving Army personnel studying from Class 9 to Professional/PG courses students. The selected students will receive up to INR 10,000 per annum and a merit certificate.
*Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) is a regulatory body that manages and ensures proper education facilities for children of Indian Army personnel through Local Military Authorities.

Education Qualification
be below 25 years of age at the time of completion of class/course
be a ward of serving Army personnel including Defence Security Corp (DSC) and MNS Officer
be studying in Class 9 to Postgraduate level
Benefits For Education Scholarship Scheme for Army Personnel (ESSA) 2022-23
Class 9 to 11 - INR 1,500 per annum
Class 10 to 12 - INR 3,000 per annum
Graduation - INR 5,000 per annum
Professional/PG courses - INR 10,000 per annum
Also, a merit certificate will be given to all eligible received applications.
