Grant of Additional Scholarship to OBC Students for Higher Studies After Class 10 - Andaman 2022-23 is an initiative to provide financial assistance to OBC category students who have passed the Class 10 examination. The scholarship is being offered by the Directorate of Social Welfare, Andaman, and Nicobar Administration. The selected candidates will receive INR 1,000.

Education Qualification
belong to the OBC category
be a domicile of Andaman and Nicobar Island
be pursuing higher educational and professional courses on a regular/full-time basis and Post-Secondary/Senior Secondary level (after Class X or XII) courses in any of the Government-recognized institutions, anywhere in the country
have passed Secondary (Class X)/Senior Secondary (Class XII) from a recognized Board of School Education and pursuing higher education in a recognized Institution/University

The selected scholars will receive a scholarship of INR 1,000 per month.

Income certificate
One self-attested copy of each of certificates of Class X /XII Diploma/Degree etc., in respect of the qualifying examination
One copy of a passport-size photograph with the signature of the student
Self-attested copy of Caste certificate signed by an authorized revenue officer, not below the rank of Tehsildar
Non-creamy layer certificate (in original & one self attested copy) signed by an authorized revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
Income declaration by the parents/guardians, stating substantial income from all sources on affidavit on Non-Judicial Stamp Paper of INR 10. In the case of Govt. servants copy of the pay slip attested by the DDO concerned would have to be submitted instead of an affidavit
Copy of marks statement duly counter signed by the Head of the Institution concerned
Self attested copy of Aadhaar Card and first page of bank pass book
Application From Grant of Additional Scholarship to OBC Students for Higher Studies After Class 10 - Andaman 2022-23
1. Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
2. Navigate to 'Applicant Corner'and click on 'New Registration'.
3. Now click on 'Click here for other Scholarship Schemes hosted on NSP for AY 2022-23'.
4. Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and 'Continue'.
5. Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Pre Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, and write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
6. Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
7. Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
8. The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
9. Now, log in using OTP and fill out the application form.
10. After successful submission of the application form, an application ID and password will be generated which can be used for future references.
