ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship Scheme 2023

ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship Scheme 2023 is an initiative of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) for Ph.D./M.D./M.S. degree holders. The fellowship aims to foster research opportunities for talented and young Ph.D./M.D./M.S. degree holders in the areas of basic science, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and reproductive health including nutrition at ICMR Institutes/centers. The selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of INR 65,000 and other benefits for the duration of their fellowship.

Eligibility ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship Scheme 2023

Education Qualification
be up to 32 years of age as on the date of application (Note - Relaxation of up to 5 years in age is given to SC/ST/OBC/PH and women candidates)
be a Ph.D./MS/MD degree holder or who has been awarded the degree in recent 3 years OR
hold a provisional Ph.D./M.S./M.D. degree
Benefits For ICMR Centenary-Post Doctoral Research Fellowship Scheme 2023
A consolidated fellowship grant of INR 65,000 per month 
House rent allowance (Note - if the fellows are receiving accommodation from the ICMR centres/institutes, the HRA will not be paid to them)
Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) as admissible
A contingency grant of INR 3,00,000 per annum (Note - 25% of the contingency grant can be used for travel including per diem expenses)
