IIT Delhi Summer Research Fellowship Program 2026
1. Program Overview
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is inviting applications for its Summer Research Fellowship Program for the year 2026. This initiative allows meritorious students to work on innovative Research and Development (R&D) projects under the mentorship of IIT Delhi faculty.
2. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for this fellowship, candidates must meet the following academic requirements:
(i) Target Group: Undergraduate and M.Tech/M.E. students.
(ii) Minimum Marks: Candidates must have secured at least 70% marks or a 7.00 CGPA by the end of their previous semester.
3. Fellowship Benefits
Selected candidates will receive the following support during their tenure:
(i) Stipend: A fellowship amount of ₹2,000 per week.
(ii) Travel: Reimbursement of travel expenses equivalent to Sleeper Class train fare.
(iii) Accommodation: Lodging and food facilities (including hostel) will be provided at the IIT Delhi campus.
4. Duration and Schedule
(i) Duration: The fellowship is scheduled for a period of 8 weeks.
