INAE Travel Grant Scheme 2022
INAE Travel Grant Scheme 2022 is an initiative by the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) for engineering students. The objective of the scheme is to enhance the quality of engineering education in the country and to inculcate a culture of research among the students. The Travel Grant Scheme is introduced to provide financial support to engineering students to present papers abroad.
Eligibility :
Education Qualification :
1. Be a pre-final and final year student of B.E./B.Tech. or Integrated M. Tech. degree and first and second-year student of M.E./M.Tech. degree from IITs/NITs/ Govt. approved Engineering Colleges/ Institutions other than by AICTE /Other Universities.
2. Have a letter of acceptance for presenting a research paper which has been accepted in a conference/seminar/symposium /workshop/exhibition abroad.
3. Have secured a minimum of 8 CGPA or equivalent percentage and above.
Scholarship Benefits :
Physical Participation -
1. The reimbursement of 100% Registration Fee, Visa Fee and 50% of the actual Airfare for discounted /concessional air tickets in case not claimed from any other source.
2. Actual fare not exceeding AC II Class train fare will be admissible for travel from the Technical Institution to the nearest airport and back.
3. The maximum financial support per student for all above reimbursements is limited to INR 1.5 lakh.
Online Participation :
1. The reimbursement of 100% Registration Fee was incurred by the candidate in case the paper was presented online through video conference.

2. Send the complete application form signed by the Head of the Institution with all supporting documents as per the list of enclosures through email at - inaehq@inae.in at least ten weeks prior to the date of presentation of the research paper.
Selection Process :
The fellows will be selected based on the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria.
