Inlaks Foundation Fellowship 2026 For Graduates Supporting Full-Time Social Initiatives
1. About the Fellowship
The Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation has announced applications for the Inlaks Fellowship for Social Engagement – 2026.
This fellowship aims to inspire young individuals to engage in new ideas, social transformation activities, problem-solving, and leadership for social change.
2. Objective of the Fellowship
The fellowship focuses on:
(i) Encouraging youth to contribute towards society
(ii) Supporting meaningful decision-making for social improvement
(iii) Strengthening social awareness, responsibility, and innovation
Its major aim is to help young citizens develop sensitivity toward Indian society and public development needs.
3. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must:
(i) Be Indian citizens
(ii) Have completed an undergraduate degree
(iii) Be aged between 18 years and 30 years
Candidates pursuing a postgraduate course may also apply.
4. Fellowship Duration
(i) The fellowship duration is one year, during which selected fellows must work full-time on their proposed social engagement project.
5. Work Areas Covered
Selected fellows will work in:
(i) Social change programs
(ii) Community-based development initiatives
(iii) Public systems
(iv) Policy-oriented organizations
(v) NGOs and related institutions
They will be encouraged to build leadership and field-based working skills.
6. Scholarship / Funding Support
Each selected fellow will receive:
(i) A yearly support amount of up to ₹25,000 per month
This financial assistance will help fellows work independently on impactful projects.
