Opportunity Cost to Parents of SC Girl Students - Puducherry 2021-22 is an initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India to provide financial help to SC category girl students of Class 6 to 10. The scholarship aims to improve the participation of SC children in Classes 6 and 10 so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the post-matric stage of education. The selected candidates will receive variable awards.

Education Qualification
be a girl student belonging to Scheduled Caste category
be a domicile of Puducherry
be studying in Class 6 and 10 at a recognized institution
have an annual family income of INR 9,000

A passport size photograph
Self-attested copies of certificates, diplomas, degree, etc
Caste certificate duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
Income declaration certificate from the parents/guardians
Application From Opportunity Cost to Parents of SC Girl Students - Puducherry 2022-23
1. Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
2. Navigate to 'Applicant Corner'and click on 'New Registration'.
3. Now click on 'Click here for other Scholarship Schemes hosted on NSP for AY 2022-23'.
4. Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and 'Continue'.
5. Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Pre Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, and write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
6. Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
7. Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
8. The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
9. Now, log in using OTP and fill out the application form.
10. After successful submission of the application form, an application ID and password will be generated which can be used for future references.
