Retention Scholarship for SC Girl Students - Puducherry 2022-23 is an initiative of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India to financially help SC category girl students of Class 1 to 5. The scholarship is applicable for candidates who are domiciles of Puducherry. The selected candidates will receive INR 25 per month for 10 months.

Education Qualification
be a girl student belonging to the Scheduled Caste category
be a domicile of Puducherry
be studying in Class 1 to 5 at a recognised institution
have an annual family income of less than INR 18,000
Benefits For Retention Scholarship for SC Girl Students - Puducherry 2022-23
The selected girls will be granted educational concession at the rate of INR 25 per month for 10 months in an academic year.

Domicile certificate
A passport size photograph
Self-attested copies of certificates, diplomas, degree, etc
Caste certificate duly signed by an authorised Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar
Income declaration certificate from the parents/guardians
Application From Retention Scholarship for SC Girl Students - Puducherry 2022-23
1. Click on the 'Apply Now' link below.
2. Navigate to 'Applicant Corner'and click on 'New Registration'.
3. Now click on 'Click here for other Scholarship Schemes hosted on NSP for AY 2022-23'.
4. Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and 'Continue'.
5. Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Pre Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, and write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
6. Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
7. Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
8. The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
9. Now, log in using OTP and fill out the application form.
10. After successful submission of the application form, an application ID and password will be generated which can be used for future references.
