Special Scholarship Scheme Ishan Uday for NER 2021-22 is an initiative for Class 12 passed students of the North-Eastern Region. The scholarship aims to promote higher education and increase GER (Gross Enrollment Ratio) in the North-Eastern Region. The scholarship is being offered by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

Education Qualification
be a domicile of the North-Eastern Region (NER)
have passed Class 12 (or equivalent) in the preceding year
have secured admission in the first year of a general degree/technical/professional/medical/paramedical courses (Integrated courses included) in a recognised College/University/Institute
Have an annual family income of less than INR 4.50 lakh from all sources
Benefits For Special Scholarship Scheme Ishan Uday for NER 2022-23
The selected candidates will receive INR 5,400 per month for general degree courses and INR 7,800 per month for technical/medical/professional/paramedical courses.

Application From Special Scholarship Scheme Ishan Uday for NER 2022-23
1. Click on the 'Apply Now' link below. 
2. Navigate to 'Applicant Corner'and click on 'New Registration'.
3. Now click on 'Click here for other Scholarship Schemes hosted on NSP for AY 2022-23'.
4. Read the guidelines carefully, select the undertaking, and 'Continue'. 
5. Select the state of domicile, scholarship category (Pre Matric), scheme type (scholarship scheme), gender, and write the applicant's name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID.
6. Provide the bank details (Bank name, IFSC Code, Account Number)
7. Select Aadhaar or Bank Account Number as identification detail and click on the 'Register' button.
8. The mobile number will be verified and an OTP will be generated.
9. Now, log in using OTP and fill out the application form.
10. After successful submission of the application form, an application ID and password will be generated which can be used for future references.
