State University Research Excellence Fellowship (SERB-SURE) 2022

The SERB-SURE Fellowship 2022 is an initiative by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) for Indian researchers. The fellowship initiative is raised to create research opportunities at various state & private universities that will help in propagating scientific temper within faculty and students of the institutions. This scheme covers all areas of Science, Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Life Science and Quantitative Social Science. The selected candidates will receive a one-time grant of INR 30 lakh for a period of three years including domestic travel, contingency and other costs.

Education Qualification
be Indian citizen
hold a PhD./M.D./M.S./M.D.S./MVSc. degree
hold a regular research position in a state university or private university 
have completed education from universities recognized by UGC/AICTE/PCI
not have an ongoing SERB project 
not be seeking support from centrally funded universities/colleges/institutes or organization

The selected researchers will receive a one-time grant of INR 30 lakhs (including overhead*) for a period of three years. The grant will be given for minor equipment/s, research personnel, consumables, domestic travel, contingency and other costs (analytical charges, equipment user charges, fieldwork charges, etc.,).
