UGC Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship for Single Girl Child (SJSGC) 2022
UGC Savitribai Jyotirao Phule Fellowship for Single Girl Child (SJSGC) 2022 is an initiative of the University Grants Commission to financially assist any single girl child pursuing Ph.D. programme in any stream. The main objective of this fellowship is to help single girl children in pursuing research work that would lead to the award of Ph.D. degree. The selected candidates will receive up to INR 35,000 per annum, a contingency grant and escort reader assistance for disabled students.

Education Qualification
be the only girl child in the family without having any brother or sister
be 40 years of age (For general category) and 45 years of age (For reserved category) as on the last date of submission of online application
be pursuing Ph.D. degree in any stream from recognised Universities
have registered in regular full-time Ph. D. program
