1. Introduction of the Winter Internship Programme 2025
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has invited applications for the non-technical Winter Internship Programme-2025. The programme aims to give students real-time exposure to government-related work, research culture, and digital initiatives.
2. Eligibility Criteria :
1. Must be pursuing graduation or post-graduation from a recognized Indian university.
2. Should have completed at least 60% of the total course (i.e., currently in 3rd year of a 4-year degree OR 2nd year of a 3-year degree).
3. Students in technical or non-technical disciplines can apply (except those already in the final year).
4. Candidates must be between 15 and 30 days away from completing their academic semester when internship begins.
3. Internship Duration :
1. The internship duration will be 15 days to 30 days.
2. Duration depends on the department’s availability and student’s academic schedule.
4. Internship Objective :
1. Practical exposure to government digital projects
2. Experience in understanding how ministries work
3. Opportunity to work under experts and gain real-time knowledge
4. Enhancement of learning and skill development in public sector environments
