AFCAT Notification 2017
Commissioned Officer (Male & Female) Open Jobs – Indian Air Force is coming in front with Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) to appoint young talent against the services of Commissioned Officer in Technical, Flying and Ground Duty divisions. The applications are duly filled only through Internet. The appointed candidates are entitled to get various benefits like pay, allowances, accommodation, medical, travel concession, casual or earned leave, mess facility, and others. The joining of job appliers will be based on merit base; any excuse to terminate the rules is being the subject of punishment.
Name and Total Post : Indian Air Force is appointing various talents for the designation of Commissioned Officer (Male and Female) under following branches.
- Flying Branch
- Technical Branch
- Ground Duty Branch
Age Limit : Job appliers for Flying Branch must have age in between twenty years (20) to twenty four (24) years but for remaining both Technical & Ground Duty branch the age would be twenty (20) years to twenty six (26) years. Candidates applied under reserved caste will get benefit in upper limit.
Educational : Candidates should have Graduates in any of the stream with sixty (60%) percentage marks and 12th Class passed with Math & Physics | BE/ B.TECH Degree | Four Years Degree in Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics OR Mechanical) with passed A & B Exam of Associate Membership | MCA | MA | B.COM | M.Sc. | Post Graduation Degree/Diploma | M.Com and Equivalent.
Mode of Selection : Candidates are appointed if getting highest score in AFCAT, Engineering Knowledge Test, Psychological Test, Intelligence Test, Medical Fitness Exam, Group Discussion, Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT) and Interview.
