Educational :
- For Teachers in Lower Primary Schools : 50%in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LPTET and 2-YearDiploma in Elementary Education from recognized institutes.
- Graduate degree from UGC recognized University and 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized institutes.
- For Hindi Teachers: B.Sc. degree from the UGC recognized University and UP TET qualified in Science and Mathematics stream and 2 years diploma.
Age Limit :
- Age should not be less than 18 years and not be more than 43 years of age as on 1st January, 2016.
- Relaxation in upper age limit will be considered for SC, ST (P), ST (H) and PH candidates for another 5 years, as per the Govt. of Assam OM No. ABP.06/2016/04 dated 03/03/2016 & No. ABP.06/2016/07 dated 26/09/2016.
Fee :
- Submit an application fee of Rs. 200/-.
- SC, ST (P), ST (H) candidates need to pay Rs. 150/- as application fee.
- BPL candidates need not to pay any fee.
