Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) is coming forward with careers prospect to appoint three hundred and seventy one (371) job seekers for the rank of Medical Officer. Jammu and Kashmir enjoys special position in India politically, geographically and constitutionally. The state got its own constitution in the year in the year 1957 on 26th of January. This was followed by the constitution of Jammu & Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) in the same year but on 2nd of September. Earlier the state had set up Jammu and Kashmir Recruitment Board for the purpose of recruiting qualified personnel in the government arena. The commission is solely responsible for conducting the process of recruitment and lay down rules and regulations in this behalf.

Age Limit : The age of job appliers must exists in between eighteen (18) years to forty (40) years but for those deals with SC, RBA, ST, PH, Ex-Serviceman, Govt. Employee & SLC category will get relaxation as norms.
Educational : Candidates must have MBBS | Graduate Medical qualification as per Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and Equivalent from approved University.
Fee : The recruitment fees for GEN Category is Rs.805 but for reserved caste Rs.405 paid in J&K Bank Branch through online generated bank challan.
