Ministry of Earth Sciences (MoEs), New Delhi has recently invited applications for the 6 post of Scientist ‘C’ on direct recruitment basis in Maharashtra for the project entitled “Deep Drilling in the Koyna Intraplate Seismic Zone”. Candidates who’s age is not more than as specified in MoEs jobs notification and having qualification of Master’s Degree in Geophysics/ Applied Geophysics/ Geology from the University/ Institute recognized by the Government of India with relevant experience (if any) are eligible to apply for the post.
Name & Total Post : Scientist ‘C’ – 06
Educational : Master’s Degree in Geophysics or Applied Geophysics or Geology or Applied Geology or Electronics or Computational Seismology or equivalent with at least 60% marks in the qualifying degree level with 3 years experience in teaching (at graduate or post graduate level) or research and development or surveys or data processing & interpretation or planning/ supervision in relevant field supported by scientific publications.
Age Limit : 40 years age limit
Selection Procedure : Candidates have to appear for Written Test and/or Interview.
